    I disagree. You need a reason to be into it, and once you have one you realise baseball has subtlety, nuance, sophistication and variety in spades. It also has an incredibly rich history. Cricket fans should be the easiest to convince of the charms of baseball. The two have so much in common.

    The security is overbearing, the lines for tickets are always way too long and slow, and there's only two ways in or out, which clogs up the concourse.

    I think it's fine once you're in your seat, but the security, access, food and beer are just rubbish. They've made some effort but it still falls well short of being good.

    No one ever complained about those great Aussie sides peaking too soon. If you're good enough, you're good enough all the time. I think these wins are result of the high standards McCullum and Hesson have instilled - do your best at all times.

    Yeah, but if the fielder gets in the way, the ball hasn't reached the line. I don't believe in this boundary thing stridently or anything, but we have debates on whether 50% of the ball might have hit the stumps because a computer program says it might have, so why are boundaries so untouchable?
