The Australian team - A disgrace to the game

i have nothing against australia playing cricket in the abusive manner they do, i have alot against other teams who dont do the same! Warne will bowl a rank long hop and go "hoo and ahhh" to psyche the batsmen out and pretend he meant to bowl it. The reason the other nations aren't as strong as...

where did anyone have a problem with murali's action at the start of delivery? do you have an issue with his run up? i dont get it?

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

ok. you did see a jerk(straightening) without the brace right? and you did see a simliar jerk with the brace although not as much but it still looked like a chuck to the naked eye right? so point to dwell on here is that the jerk you saw with the brace on is not humanely possible, so do you...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

"“The fact is this is a perfectly solid brace made from steel bars and plaster of parris and there’s no way the elbow can move here, I put my hand on my heart. But I do notice close jerk movements from shoulder and wrist which may be Murali’s secret,” he added. "...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

if you read up on it you will realize theres more to the story than just your opinion. most everyone who saw it claims he bowled the same with and without the brace, they agreed that there was a jerk to his action even with the brace.

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

http://www.channel4.co.uk/sport/cricket/news/nr_6295.html " The Kandy spinner then strapped on a tailor-made arm brace complete with steel rods to prevent straightening of his arm and proceeded to bowl the same three deliveries with remarkably similar results. " the brace was to prevent his...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

were going around in circles here. people can watch a documentary and come up with their own conclusions. the FACTS are that with the brace no human has the strenght to straighten his arm. even with the brace on his arm looked like it straighten, key word "looked like". if he indeed managed to...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

the only way to prove it is to put a brace on so the arm so the arm does not straigten and yet it looks a chuck(looks like he straightyens his arm with the brace on, a brace with iron rods to prevent straightening.), so that proves without doubt it indeed is an illusion.

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

proves as much as me having seen that video from channel4 mate. i've tried to straigten his arm once over a game of pool and it is bent..it is bent. there's nothing anyone can do to straighten it not even him, many know this even bruce yardley has tried thats the reason yardley goes on a limb...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

marc bro your loosing the plot here mate. the reason so much of analysis has been done is because this is a rare case, no human has seen this scenario before. therefore to anaylise it it has to be researched, fair enough. what im tryin to get across to you is the main reason they are going...

oh also one more thing marc the defenition of an illusion is , An erroneous perception of reality. it does not matter if you see it on TV or in real life, The human brain will process the same image no matter what source, be it TV or real life.

    **Official** Asia Cup 2004 Thread

lol! you guys seem to think zoysa is some new found star. zoysa is nothing without vaas bowling an immaculate line and length on the other end, zoysa is nothing without the excellent Sri lankan fielding. I have a feeling with SL playing a younger side tomorrow they are keen to play india in the...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

so now your saying his delivery action deffers with and without the brace on? for one what difference does it make if he performs ballet on his way to the wicket mate? the point of the documentary was to prove that he could not straighten his arm. have you thought about the possibilty that the...

Instead of Jayawardena will Sangakkara be a good capt for SL ???

sorry richard that doesnt make sense, in 7 years kumar would be well out of the game and out of his prime. his prime as a player and key contributor is now. If he isn't allowed to bat in a position he feels confortable in, his confidence will slowly drop. Lankans are known to consult their...

Murali bowling with a astraight arm

it was noted somewhere in cricinfo that the writer was actually there as opposed to viewing the optical illusion created on a TV screen. we have heard experts say that the brace would not let him straighten his arm, so there for any straightening you would see in that excersize is an illusion...

    **Official** Asia Cup 2004 Thread

i'm not sure if the indians can really be blamed here. the pakistanis played good cricket & indians are terrible chasing runs under pressure. The indians lack a senior man in the middle who posesses a calm head, sure there's dravid but india is in dire need of a old war horse. The past greats if...
