    Southee was uncharacteristically poor. Elliott was expensive but tricky. Vettori and Boult were outstanding - accurate and wily. Boult's economy would've been even better if he hadn't been stiffed by a top-edged six that the batsman knew nothing about.

    Totally fair point. Discussion is all good. It just seems silly to me that with the evidence pointing to this NZ side being an excellent one, the result is an obsession with its few remaining flaws. We should be enjoying this guys - loving it! Wallowing in the joy of it! It'll all be over soon...

    I really hope so, but this sentence is so full of hedging as to be meaningless: "the ICC will be looking at giving perhaps some consideration to placing limitations on the depth of a bat in particular."
