    I'm baffled by this whole Kolpak business. Am I understanding it right that Brendan Taylor is somehow to play county cricket as a "local" player because England and Zimbabwe have signed some sort of agreement, rather than because he has English ancestry?

    I was at the pub for most of this match. We could've bowled and fielded better, but as far as the batting is concerned, I never thought the result was in doubt. A perfectly paced chase, and our batsmen got some time in the middle. I think we're well poised for the playoffs.

    Maybe these two wickets will keep you interested? This is usually what happens when I disparage a team or game. I accused Bangladesh of being crap the other day when they were getting bashed around by Scotland, and pretty much from that point onward they've been excellent.
