    BEst fast Bowler of 90's?

He might not have abused people, but he had no reservations about just trying to kill them. In a gentle, caring sort of way of course.

    Ponting Queries Murali test

Tim? Tim Saunders?? Is that you???

Positive reaction to Twenty20/Pro20 style Cricket in South Africa.

He's a poor man's Jacques Kallis. I'd rather have Freddie than Hall to be honest.

    BEst fast Bowler of 90's?

I think you're possibly the only person who'd call McGrath 'devastating.' Of all the quicks mentioned in this thread, for me he is easily the least 'devastating' (except for maybe the post-speed-drop Pollock). He tends to work and bore batsmen out rather than blow them away. Although he is still...

    Is Tendulkar a choker

You still haven't caught on though...... ;)

Hardly special though. He's an adequate Test performer at best. There are only a handful of bowlers today that you could really call special, and Andrew Hall certainly is not one of them, despite what his mother says.

    Murali cleared!!! .... or not...?

Then I hope that his board take him to task over it. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Of course they will...................

    Is Tendulkar a choker

If you're only going to take on board the opinions others, then it's not your opinion. You should really make up your own mind instead of having your opinion decided for you by others. To me, Tendulkar is someone who cashes in when the going is good but cannot carry an attack when it is needed...

    Is Tendulkar a choker

In my opinion, yes, you are wrong and I am right. You may have whatever opinion you want though.

    Inzimam-amongst The Current Batsmen

Slightly to the left, behind the bike shed.

Since when was Andrew Hall's bowling anything special? Since 20/20 cricket was introduced. Different forms of cricket will require different skills and will produce a different set of star performers (see Bevan, Michael for further info). The techniques of Test players will not suffer (except...

    Is Tendulkar a choker

"tendulkar= the most overated player EVER!!" Amen to that. Statistically he will rank among the top 3 batsmen to ever play the game, but realistically not many of those who actually saw him play will even consider him among the top 3 of his generation. Too many inconsequential innings...

Why does eddie have a duck as a pet? That's rather 'alternative,' don't you think?

Now there's something you don't see everyday.

I'd already considered him, but as far as I know WG wasn't captaining the side when he did it. He rarely bowled when captaining England anyway.

What duck? Why do you have a duck contributing to the forum?

    Murali cleared!!! .... or not...?

I'd like all the chuckers banned, not just Murali. Although the chuckers can thank Murali for them still being able to play international cricket. In one of the recent Pakistan/India ODIs, the majority of the Pakistani attack consisted of pelters. I was horrified. This is something that has...

He is very short though. This is a problem that needs addressing immediately.

Now there's something you don't see everyday.

Andrew Hall has kept wicket and bowled in a ODI (as well as batting - I think he even opened), but has anyone ever kept wicket, bowled, batted AND captained the team in an international before? I think this may have been the first time. On another note, Taibu is very short. Thank you.

    Murali cleared!!! .... or not...?

I can't believe the ICC has actually deemed his doosra illegal. This is the first bit of balls they have demonstrated in a long, long time, although it wouldn't have been necessary had they had the balls to ban the chucker when he was first called. All this really means is that he can't bowl the...
