    Ashwin vs eas prasana

Harbhajan's (jointly) responsible for the most famous Test series win in India's history. Put some respect on that turban goddammit.

*Official* South Africa Test Tour of Zimbabwe 2025

lmao I didn't realize Mulder is captain too. Textbook definition of overthinking and tying yourself up in knots.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Siraj will surely need a rest at some time too though? We kinda take him for granted but he clocks some serious miles in these overseas Tests.

What we learned from the 2nd test

Best part about the second Test was how England were made to choke down on their bravado of the last three years ("the more the better") and forced to play for the draw that even they themselves must've known was beyond their capabilities. Truly a noose of their own making. To their dubious...

What we learned from the 2nd test

He goes at it with hard hands though which will cause him problems in India and the SC in general where he'll have to play defense against spin for long periods. Also is a compulsive aerial hooker and will have to rein that in on the Aus tour where the grounds are larger.

In terms of pure bowling skill, is Bumrah the greatest you have seen?

The things that make Bumrah skillful also detract from his durability. It's a give n' take. Even Wasim lived with a perennially strained groin. You make Bumrah into a more orthodox bowler and you start losing bits of what makes him special.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Well, we continued picking Gill on vibes too and see what's happening. England only need to persist with Crawley.

Stokes calling this road a SC pitch 8-)

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Yeah the conundrum around the Kuldeep selection now that we'll have three potent seamers is whether we need his spin over Reddy's supposed batting potential. I believe KD adds an overwhelming positive to the side and having 4 genuine wicket-takers is anyday preferable to 3 and the rest making up...

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

So from an Indian pov, the only places up for grabs appear to be Nair, NKR, and Prasidh. Bumrah has to be a straight swap for Prasidh. Think they'll keep NKR though I'd like to see KD. It's a 50-50 between Nair and Sai.

Series seems ripe for the taking if bowlers remain fit and we hold on to our catches.

Harry Brook seems to share 3/4ths of Bashir's formidable beak.

Shastri's India glazing gets to be a bit much. Acknowledge a job done and move on, but he keeps on and on.

Carse can bat. Makes Smith look all the more a clown for that shot.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

KL was a little casual getting into position during Jadeja's run-up. No wonder he shelled it.

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Akash always bowls to a plan. Might not always come off but he's not a run up and pray sort. Wheels always turning.

Now for Kuldeep to join the party and get his.

Ww have identified this series' Sam Curran. It is Jamie Smith. Great work, Akash! Magnificent on this road.
