Wait they'd shown 3 reds before, why the * did impact change now :mad2: And shouldn't we get the review back? It showed 3 reds first up, now changed to impact being umpire's call also funny tucker gave 2 plumb decisions not out yesterday!

Patidar's such a low energy guy!

You can step out here & negate the lengths/bounce to an extent. Sarfaraz & Jaiswal should be doping that as much as they can!

From another site! They should do "AI" training on these snicko spikes, could well be the best investment yet for Sony or whoever's in charge!

It didn't look like an edge first up, there would be a constant noise on that graph if he hit it. It spiked then nothing for small time & then again a separate spike! I assume you were talking about Root's lbw appeal?

Two if you're lucky, if we had Kumble here could've probably rolled them twice in a day :D

There are active burning coal mines here that's why. Places like Chennai or Mumbai have the sea for its relative cooldown effect, up north during late spring or summer it's searing hot with no respite whatsoever! Although forecast looks good/mild for now.

More than the pitch it's the conditions, Ranchi is stupidly hot. Easily the hottest venue in this series, they have coal mines nearby FFS & one of the oldest coal fires as well IIRC in Jharia? Even Umesh & Jadeja ran out of steam on the last day vs Oz back in 2017 - it's probably going to be...

I wouldn't mind a few tests in summer with Pinkish ball - how about start play around 4 to 4:30 till midnight & host games up north? D/N tests in the traditional Ranji season just have too much help at night time, also fcuk WTC it's just another BS money swindling scheme by ICC with very little...

Yes, the last 2 series losses were in late autumn/winter (2004 & 2012) where pacers had swing/seam & definitely early morning conditions to aid their craft. Generally it's much harder to win in early Spring, we also don't play in Indian summers any more.

Let's put it this way - if the track is helpful or ragged turner you can still lose the toss & win like Mumbai 2001 or 2006, then Mumbai/Kolkata 2012, Indore 2023 et al. On flat decks you better pray you win the toss because I don't remember India losing a test batting first on such pitches any...

I know this forum probably has memory of a gold fish but that's 100% not true, even from the pre DRS era! In fact India is much more stronger when the pitches are flat - View overall figures [change view] Opposition team India Home or away away (home of opposition) Start of match date...

***Official***THE FINAL- India vs Australia - November 19th - Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad (D/N)

Not as much vs SL & Eng, both games had more movement off the pitch & in the air.

Yup, ever wondered why it didn't swing corners vs NZ in Mumbai? Dry wicket & little to no dew there! If there's dew then it could also swing/seam big in second innings - at least based on some of the earlier matches this WC, or maybe there's just looking to play that out & survive the early burst?

Yes all dodgy as hell, we need to get a lawyer sitting next to Joel or better still Junior Shah

Who are the neutrals supporting in the final?

WT20 should be held every 4 years, it's a joke how ICC is minting money by rolling out these tournaments every year!

Which Cricket World Cup Was the Least Interesting?

Well if you had the WC in late spring/early Summer, where it would spin more, half of the S.E.N.A. teams would be out retired hurt/exhausted by now. Most venues around that time are boiling hot in the day & spinners would generally prosper a lot more, this is also why the last two times India...
