    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Every time an Indian commentator has suggested a batsman has looked solid and played late, there's been a wicket. Shastri accounted for Pant and KL. DK about to do NKR in next.

Oh I thought these posts were going into the match thread. Whatever.

*Official* India tour of England 2025 General Discussion

My worry is he obviously focused incredibly hard to iron out those extreme chinks in his batting in the first two Tests but literally every one of them was back as soon as he was under the pump. And no, there was no extravagant movement here which we knew to be his kryptonite. Be fascinating to...

Yeah that's what I meant. No problem with his antics on Day 3 but he has no leg to stand on if it affects his game to that extent.

Those images of Gill wagging his finger at Crawley look so pathetic now after the way he batted last night.

Sure, Eng have been great AND we've been timid. It's the vibe India has given that's allowed Eng to really hit their straps.

Total shambles. We've **** the bed from ball one. This team needs a psychologist. Well bowled, England. This series probably ends 4-1 now.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

It's strange. You would think he must have felt vindicated and on top of the world after his bowlers put in that performance but he showed up timid as heck instead. No comparison obv, but can you imagine Kohli in his pomp coming out in any frame of mind other than insufferably confident?

Nightwatchmen are sent out with an eye on the clock. You don't want to send him out prematurely and risk him getting out and exposing the next batsman due anyway. Especially not when your NW is really a bunny in human disguise. Agree with the Sundar point though.

Hardly a minefield yet. Nothing has reared up even remotely like what Bumrah - and only Bumrah - was able to do earlier. Gill was in a mental dead zone and allowed his prior flaws to creep back into his game.

Gill and Jaiswal though have to really look in the mirror. Something has obviously clicked off mentally and they need to find out what soon.

I would've sent Reddy or Sundar. Better chance of going in with a psychologically healthier score and also starting tomorrow with some momentum. Anyhoo, what an epic end to the day. Spinechilling really.

Who would've thought Woakes+Carse and not Archer would be the difference makers

No way is Akash surviving these last two balls.

We just suck at chasing small scores. Have never known us to not make heavy weather of chasing 150-200.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Amazing how all his previous weaknesses reappeared in that brief stay. Feet not moving, bat limp and away from body outside off. Very interesting to see how he plays in the next Test.

Weak sauce from Gill. Should can the aggro act and focus on his batting.
