    Shoaib Akhtar Singing

oh the irony the agressive Shioab Akhtar singing such a song. From his attitude to batsmen, i imagined he would be more of a hard metal/rock fanatic. I am delightfully suprised

On the other hand, did you see the look on Boycott's face, it was like a schoolboy meeting his idol. I wish i could get a picture of that great moment. Intriguing how a man of so much experience who has definitely seen and faced bowlers of greater calibre than jones can be so amazed at meeting him

Who is the best all-rounder in world cricket?

And Polock was pretty much a complete all-rounder about 2-3 years ago. Not the bowling allrounder he is these days. These days i am pretty much regard him as a tail ender which is a shame whne you consider the potential he has. Infact these days i think Boje should come in before him.

Who is the best all-rounder in world cricket?

Thats why i said ''to a lesser extent'' reffering to his past traits. Even these days he still manages to dissapoint with the bat although he is now much more consistent

Who is the best all-rounder in world cricket?

that is the problem with most of these ''allrounders''. they have the capabilities but end up falling short in one of the two qualities of allrounders. Afridi, Pollock, Kallis, Bravo and an to a much lesser extent Flintoff

The 'No Negativity' / 'Good karma' thread

:surprise: :surprise: he is 34. If he has never been considered for England then that is really bad. Reminds me of the sad case of Martin Bicknell. It's not as if england had that many world beaters in the 90s. Or was there another reason why he wasn't picked. and if he is 34, he is...

Is it just me or is Jeff Boycott Simon Jones' greatest fan. Maybe i am just a tad jealous coz i feel tht anderson should be the man but i think he talks about Simon Jones too much. I have got to hand it to Simon Jones though, he has won me over. He can swing it with the new ball now. i was...

Who is the best all-rounder in world cricket?

1.Flintoff - Would get in as a specialist batsman or a specialist bowler 2.Kallis - Would get into any team in the world as a batsman and he can still have his days with the ball so is worth his position on my table 3.Razzaq - Good backup bowler and decent late middle order batsman 4.Malik -...

The 'No Negativity' / 'Good karma' thread

Some more i agree with someone who said Morton could be something. i like him I have started liking Andrew Nel. He has got this certain thing in him which i can only call an X-factor From the county scene, i have noticed that this fella called Lewry [who i had honestly never heard of] is...

    Driven through the covers.....

How about Hoggard's unintentional cover drive/ forward defense/ push :p . It is so elegant in its simplicity. I get the feeling that Lara's drives are too complicated, the hop across the stumps, the high lift of the bat, then the almighty swoosh with which it comes down before making contact...
