    I disagree. SL proved that they can win without murali by defeating englan 5-0 in the recent odis. They have a number of good bowlers such as vaas, lasith, and bandara and I think they will still be a force to reckon with after murali retires. Sri Lanka continues to be underestimated by the rest...

    I think he uses his fingers to spin the ball in the opposite direction of his wrist movements. Does that make sense? Sort of like releasing the ball out of the top of his hand instead of spinning it with is wrist.

    I would have liked to see Jayasuriya included in this poll. I think he's the best opener with a career (not just opening) avg of 41 in 105 matches and over 6700 runs, 14 tons and 30 fifties. Overall Career stats If somebody can point to his stats as an opener...

    Great win by Sri Lanka. A fine performance by Mahela, Jayasuriya, Maharoof and even Prasanna. :cool: :p And as for dean jones, he is doubtless a racist and deserved a greater punishment than simply being sacked. I hope he never works as a commentator again. :@

Commentary is all about what you say and if you make a blatantly racist and prejudiced comment for whatever reason then you should not be allowed...

    I think they should continue to keep Prasanna in the side because he does make things easier on Sangakkara. I don't think he could have made all those runs in the first test if he had had to keep wickets on day one as well. And as for Prasanna's wicket keeping standards we should keep in mind...
