Tendulkar was ****ing insane last Sunday. Couldn't beleive the damage he was doing, Yuvraj and Dhoni too. Really awesome game to watch, crowd was so intense. Ridiculous the amount of people that the cops hauled away that were hardly doing anything wrong.

:( If the cricket is rained off, it'll still be a good road trip.

    Your All-time Top 5's

Why do you rate Richards so high, since his record isn't as great as a lot of other players?

What does that prove? That Elliot has, so far in his career, guided New Zealand home. Chasing 300, who would you rather have opening? Ryder, Guptill or Elliot? I'd rather have almost anybody than Elliot. Different batsmen are suited to different positions and scenarios, that's pretty simple.

Well, to an extent. I still feel as though Ryder and Guptill are better batsmen than Elliot, despite what the statistics say about it. Personally can't see Elliot averaging more than 30 in his career (if it's a decent length) while I've got high hopes for the other two, and can see them, along...

McCullum, Ryder and Guptill are all better bats than Elliot, and I'd rate Oram above him slightly too. No doubting Elliot has been in really great form, but he's only played 10 innings. 10 innings and you're calling him our second best bastman? Sorry Phlegmo, but that's just ridiculous.

    No, he's not.

Thilan Samaraweera: a victim of black magic?

Holes all through that argument Migara. Ever thought batsmens averages in Australia are higher because they've had Ponting, Hayden, Gilchrist, Waugh and Hussey dominating damn near anything? Likewise, batsmen in Sri Lanka average lower because they've had one of the most unplayable bowlers ever...

    Kallis Vs Sobers

Vettori? I know you don't rate him, and neither do I, but there's no denying he's actually quite a 'good' bowler.

Thilan Samaraweera: a victim of black magic?

Big deal. How about we wait and see until he scores a run outside of the subcontinent?

Broom's barely had any chance for NZ, pretty much whenever he has come to the crease it has been in the slog overs. Styris on the other hand, is a seasoned veteran, who has been in pretty poor form for his domestic side. You can't compare them. Styris, at his age and with his experience, should...

    Top 5 modern day greats

Look, I'm not a massive Ponting fan but he's better than Kallis. Basically you want the top 5 cricketers of the last 19 years, right? Lara Tendulkar Warne Muralitharan McGrath Ponting, Gilchrist, Kallis incredibly unlucky. Not to mention about 10 others who are right up there.

    ***Official India in New Zealand***

Exactly what it comes down too in the end. Since the start of last year, Styris has averaged 35 against England. That's it, aside from a few innings against Bangladesh and one against Scotland. He hasn't played an ODI since October 2008 and has barely done anything for Auckland in any form of...

    Mitchell Johnson v Stuart Broad

No, he doesn't have a big swing. He plays an aggressive shot and belts the leather off the ball. It's still a 'proper' shot, whatever that term means.

    Mitchell Johnson v Stuart Broad

Haha, no way. He definitely bats like a batsman, he just smashes the ball when he plays an attacking shot.
