    ***Official*** Sri Lanka in Australia

Mmm, Murali + Vaas + Malinga + Dilhara = probably the strongest touring bowling unit to Aus since WI in '92. The wkts will be early summer, green tops...prepared specifically to negate the Murali effect. But the Lankan pace bowling is impressive. What a prospect!

I would go with Dilshan for Lokuarrachchi in your X1 - Sana, Dilshan and Murali as the spin trio is formidable to add to Vaas, Slinger and Maha. The fielding and batting both are strengthened with Dilshan. Looks a settled, balanced, experienced team. If we are wrap up the ODI series quickly...

    Will Warney's Record Be Broken?

This is like saying the sun will rise in the east...of course the record will be broken by Murali, eventually. Before you shoot off half-baked statements like above, take a look at the stats. - Warne has taken more tailenders than Murali - Murali's strike rate (53) is far superior to Warne...

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

This is a piece of pure fiction perputated by Warne-lovers as Murali's Test record against Australia in the past 7 years is outstanding, and probably the best in world cricket - 33 wkts in 4 tests, including 5 wkts in Sydney for the World XI. What more can Murali do - he has delivered against...

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

Agreed with your comments (if you look in my original post, I stated the same point re Bradman). My post was not intended to compare Bradman with Murali (both are incomprable), but just to state that already Murali has pulled ahead of almost all bowlers in his era, and will surely be the best of...

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

Yes, thats true....but if we wait for the end of Murali's career, then I am sure that he will have at least 1/3rd more international wkts than the next best (Warne) for around the same number of tests that Warne played.
