    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

"That's what they've got to do, Australia. They've got to be able to score off deliveries." K.

He's totally fine in ODIs, record is very good. Definitely not convinced he's ever going to be that good in t20 though.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

Yeah. I'm finally starting to come around to t20 after years of being somewhere between bored and irritated by it, but the music and other gimmicks are still super annoying to me. I get why they are there of course but yeah.

Dunno if bowling spin in the powerplay is really necessary. Australia's best powerplay bowlers were Watson and Faulkner. Need to vary pace etc though for sure.

Australia bowled and fielded really well aside from that Agar over I think. Definitely could still go either way though. Should be gettable but it's a perfect situation for a middle order collapse also.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

It's funny that there's a realistic possibility that will be the only over Agar bowls for the whole tournament.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

NCN, Marsh and Faulkner all have overs left, so maybe not.

4 for 49 off the 10 overs since the powerplay. So getting 43 off the last 4 to get to 150 would be a good effort.

Terrific over from Marsh. That off-cutter that just died in the pitch and turned was pretty much impossible to hit. Really that 18 run Agar over is huge now, not easy to score at all.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

Yeah definitely a slowish pitch. Won't be that easy to chase on.

Guess the bowling change every over strategy is working.

Nice over from Zampa. Not a lot of turn though, no reason you need two specialist spinners on this pitch. Seems difficult enough to get medium pacers away.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

Surely dropping Faulkner would be insane. Marsh or nothing really.

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

I think this number of bowling options was always kinda inevitable given the squad though. The only batsman they didn't pick was Finch and I don't think they were ever going to pick Finch, Khawaja, Watson, Smith and Warner in the same team. Though you could argue about how much batting order...

    5th Match - Australia v New Zealand (18th March)

Pretty harsh to drop Finch. Really hasn't done anything wrong in t20 for Australia. And also Hastings, though he's less established in the team I guess.

    1st Match - India v New Zealand (15th March)

Been a really good performance from India. Should win comfortably from here.

    1st Match - India v New Zealand (15th March)

    In t20? Dunno about that.
