    Left Arm Wrist Spin

your arm doesn't look very straight and bent so probably is a no-ball. Have a look at these two screenshots one from front one from behind, your arm should come round so its almost brush your left ear where as yours is about 1 to 2 foot away from it.

    Wicket Keeping

Neil Pickup is a keeper i think. I've done it a few times when the 1st choice has been away, similar situation to you, good fielder, play goalkeeper in football. The main things are to move your feet, ignore the batsman, i wrote a thread about is about a motnh to two months ago similar...

    EA cricket 08

not going to happen, i bet! cricket 07 is ok-good like most cricket games just needs intense testing and sorting out stupid things like being near impossible to bowl at AI batsman. I think that both Cricket 09 and a codemasters game (not sure which player it will feature) will probably come out...

Training drills for finding gaps & soft hands?

I have a good drill for this which I use to practise working the spinners around, when in the nets get some cones and make a gate at either side of the net and tell the batsman that is where the gap is then have a net as normal and the batsman score runs for how many times they work it into the...

    General Batting

To try forget when you got hit in the ribs just say to yourself before the bowler is coming in, get across stay in line watch the ball and repeat it while the bowler is coming in and don't once say (and try not to think) i hope this doesnt hurt me

    General Batting

my advice to you would be to bat on off stump, so your inline with the ball and at least if you do back away then you are still in an ok position. I would work on an ok defence and then one off side and one leg side shot, and just use them to score off

    Run up

On the outfield, close your eyes with a ball in a hand and start your run up and just release the ball when it feels natural, then measure the distance and that is your run up obviously try it out in the nets a few times. Surely if you have grown then the strides when you mark out your run...

Tips & Tricks To Improve timing

Get someone to give you throw-downs for straight drives, if the ball is going in the air or after you have played your shot you are "falling forward down the wicket" you have played it to early. One common mistake many batsmen make is planting their foot too early idealy they should be coming...

    The Short Pitched Delivery

The thing with a short ball is it has to be at your throat so you can get your hands free to play it, however I good batsman will just let it go and then be prepared for the yorker, but shakey looking batsman bouncer-yorker is the best bowling tactic there is.

URGENT - Wicketkeeping tips needed! Please help.

I played for the 17s in the semi-final. We batted first and got 163-4 in 20 overs. I got a quickfire 40 off 18 balls. Then my keeping was generally good, only 5 byes (4 of which were standing up a reasonably quick bowler and they went down legside) and I took a catch stood up to the stumps and...

    The Future of International Cricket

There is great uncertainty over where the future of international cricket is going after the introduction of the IPL and ICL, and the new dominant force that is twenty 20. Here is my proposal as to what should happen. Get rid of international twenty 20 matches, get rid of the twenty 20 world...

The best cricket match you've played in.

What is the best match you've played in, I don't just mean the one where you absolutely thrashed them, I mean the games were it would have been great to watch. Mine was a cup semi final I played in yesterday, we batted first and got 304-4 in 40 overs, with two people getting 50s and one getting...
