Why are cricket administrators so brainless?

Well there are weak teams and strong teams and Scotland & Ireland (esp. Scotland) have been fairly competitive this season and are only going to get better... (Before taking the last maches into consideration) - In terms of points Glamorgan, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire were equal or below...

wat changes cricket needs to be a world sport???

Yeah, statistically too cricket is the second most followed sport in the world.. (I know it's largely due to the huge populations in the subcontinent) but that doesnt change the fact.. Cricket is OFFICIALLY the second-most followed sport in the world.

    Where is the justice?

It's a vicious circle mate, with players like Joyce and Morgan in their ranks, Ireland will consistently be able to upset the best of teams. Surely, they aren't much worse than Zimbabwe and Bangladesh... I mean with Ed Joyce, it would have made a world of difference to the Irish cricket team...

wat changes cricket needs to be a world sport???

Guys, while you are talking about this a lot of good work is being done in spreading the gospel of cricket. There is the InterContinetal Cup going on, a lot of cricket for the so-called six associates.. The game is growing and it will keep growing. This sport doesn't need rule changes. I mean...

    England V Ireland

Jesus, why isn't anyone actually giving Ireland much-deserved credit for the way they played today? They showed the world that they can be competitve and the lower rung of nations can one day step up to the plate. I'm sure England would have a more facile victory over a Zimbabwe or a...

Does the County Championship need to be altered?

There should be 20 in my opinion.. 18 + Scotland & Ireland.. It would be great for the game in the long run.. And would probably have Ed Joyce scoring a hundred or two for Ireland at the World Cup...

    New Test Teams(icc Wake Up)

There is a very interesting article by a Mr. Nick Deverell (of kenyacricket.com fame) posted on my blog (link is in my sig) whereby he proposed the current system of Tests and InterContinental Cup to continue, with a play-off match say every two years or so between the winner of the...

2011 World Cup Bid Vote - Another chance

Congrats to India/Pak/SL/Bang... Being an Asian, I felt it was fair to award this WC to the Australia/NZ simply because of a policy of rotation.. But well, I ain't compaining either way! :D Though I do think Pawar's claims to 1 in 3 WC's to be a little too much....

Will the West Indies ever rise again?

And as for claims of cricket dying out world over.. Thats rubbish! Cricket's here to stay.. and from a global perspective, growing from strength to strength..
