Yes a 2-1 away win in New Zealand was very good, but we saw the familiar failings of this England Test side in the 3rd Test with another shocking batting collapse on a relatively tame deck.

I’m detecting a change in tone from the media and a lot of English cricket supporters regarding the McCullum era. You just the feel from the outside that it’s like a holiday camp. “Training optional” ffs. Every time Ben Duckett opens his mouth he looks like a fool.

They’re obsessed with the 2019 World Cup final. It’s actually quite impressive how triggered they get about a match that they weren’t involved in. Silent about the T20 WC last year though when they were the only team who knew which venues they’d play at in advance though aren’t they?

Would I want my country to win using such underhand tactics? Absolutely not. It was cheating plain and simple. Not surprised at all though because it’s those **** houses.

So a batsman can play with a concussion but can’t field, so you sub him off for a bowler? Cheating bastards.

This England team are a shabby, unprofessional disgrace.

Glad England won but tbh I think it’s been an insipid and uninspiring series so far as T20s often are.

Unfortunately this is what happens when you vote in cretins like Narendra Modi. How thick, bigoted and blinkered would you have to be to make that bloke your president.

    English Domestic Season 2025

Quite funny that in Hampshire’s first year under Indian ownership one of their best players has chosen not to play for them.

Alex Hartley said as much after the last World Cup but it was kind of just flat out denied or scoffed at. But unless you’re totally blind it’s not hard to see it’s clearly an issue. Totally unacceptable for some of them to be in the shape they are in.

Possibly could still do a job in the second division. Last time Middlesex were in the top flight he struggled mightily.

England have a real problem with dropping catches and I’m sorry but the physical condition of the players who are dropping them doesn’t exactly scream “professional athlete”.

Jay Shah, England, India, and Australia in talks to kill test cricket

Hope it doesn’t happen. I’m fed up of playing India.

I’m not too fussed about the lottery that is the T20s. Much more interested in the ODIs, especially with the Champions Trophy coming up.

Who should be next indian test captain?

    Definitely Bumrah.

Enjoy your retirement mate. I’ve already made plans to catch our first fixture of the season at Trent Bridge. Can’t wait.
