**Official Comm Bank Series - Aus, Ind & SL ODI's***

Not sure depleted is the right word this Australian side is more unsettled IMO where nobody is sure about their roles.

Not making an excuse but bowlers clearly struggling to get their footing right due to that light drizzle, but yeah the last 10 overs have been straight out of pre-McDermott era.

Despite two early wickets Australia looking rattled from Mahela's onslaught from the other day, the new ball bowlers have hardly pitched anything in the batsman' half despite there being some assistance.

SRT is a legend but him waving his arms around to suggest that therr was anything wrong there is poor form really.

40 runs of the last ten for a team that had more than half their wickets in hand is a massively poor effort and something that could have cost us the game here, Indian bowling was steady but that's all it was.

For a man with so much experience Lee unfortunately has very little brains to make any use of that.

Seriously our batting #8 onwards is seriously poor atm and almost makes you miss Johnson.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Was a great game last night but felt pretty bad for Bailey, he was superb last night with the way he paced his knock and the final result was a shame from the Tassie pov because they without doubt have been the benchmark side in domestic cricket for the last few years.

The Dussey thing was surely out according to the new rules but the rule is pretty stupid in the first place and just opens up a grey area in the game, this incident was a case of Duss blocking a ball that was going to hit him on the chops had he just run through.

    Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

On a side note just wanna ask how a bloke like Lalor is playing in the Shield and that too for a team life NSW, looks very ordinary and I'm surprised he's playing ahead of blokes like Hazelwood, infa,ct someone like Abbott or Henriques would be far better choices than him. People are bagging SOK...

Goodbye RT Ponting 'the ODI player' - you were a legend.

No, he was in charge for the South African series as well but obviously Ponting was good enough and an 'important' player back then because he was coming of from a good OD series against Sri Lanka.

Yeah... 33 is just the right age to teach him to move his feet, play with a straight bat and concentrate, I guess it maybe just is a massive fluke that he has scored close to 20,000 international runs with his crooked technique he has right now.

Its amusing everytime I hear someone telling Sehwag to change the way he bats,..I guess people don't realise that the way he bats is what makes him the player he is and if he makes changes to that he won't be the same unique player he is.

Goodbye RT Ponting 'the ODI player' - you were a legend.

So why does he come out and say that Ponting doesn't feature in our scheme of things for 2015 so its time to move on!? Obviously he knew this even before his failures in the CB series but in the all the previous ODI series he was scoring 50's therefore the future of the Australian side was least...

Goodbye RT Ponting 'the ODI player' - you were a legend.

Why blame the media mate, he's just representing the behaviour or mindset of a large section of the common population who derive some sort of perverse pleasure out of seeing a hero fall onto his knees.

Goodbye RT Ponting 'the ODI player' - you were a legend.

The biggest problem amidst all of this is the total lack of vision among the selectors as to what they want to do with this team, if Ponting was so dispensable that a few failures was good enough to pull the plug on his career without even having any real communication with him then you gotta...

Warner has got the skills and he has proved himself at the T20 and test level and its only a matter of time before he does that at the OD level as well, someone like Forrest on the other hand has been around for almost half a decade and only this season he has put some decent numbers at the FC...

Goodbye RT Ponting 'the ODI player' - you were a legend.

Hearing reports that Ponting would announce his retirement from all forms of international cricket tomorrow and despite being a huge fan I believe that's the best thing for him to do now, he's been a great player no doubt but I admire him for his grit and the pride with which he represented...

**Official Comm Bank Series - Aus, Ind & SL ODI's***

Warner has a FC average of over 50 he's a monster of a T20 player now if that would have been the case with Forrest than I would have had no problem with him being picked at this level on the basis of his potential.
