    *Official* South Africa vs England (3 ODI):Jan 27-Feb 04, 2023 in SAfrica

As has been said previously by different people we are in a bit of an uncertain time regarding the England side - maybe even a bit of a mess. Less than a year out from the world cup and we have Roy who can't buy a run, Root skipping the series to play t20 cricket, Duckett playing his first ODI...

His game isn't that different vs spin imo to what it was first time around. Just he was facing Ashwin on tough wickets and was less confident of his ability and the approach he should take. This time around he certainly benefits from the Stokes/Mcullum mantra of super aggression because that's...

Roy continuing his wretched form. 71 runs @ 11.83avg @ 92.2 sr in the SA t20. This ODI series in SA starting in less than a week maybe his last chance assuming he's even selected in the final xi. Will Jacks on the other hand 204 runs @40.8 avg @ 196.15sr. Putting himself in consideration for...

    County Cricket 2023

Still a while to go but... County in and out https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/62872505 Fixture details https://www.ecb.co.uk/news/2920225/schedule-for-2023-domestic-season-announced Anyone half decent (and even some that aren't) seem to be playing in t20 leagues across the world currently.

Has there ever been a fast bowler in professional cricket as fat as magala? He's a phenomenon.

    Team of the Year…2022- Tests

I wasn't been serious. Only way to respond to burgeys stupid arguments is to make ones of your own.

*Official* New Zealand vs Pakistan 2022/23

I thought it was pretty fun at the end. It seemed Alex Wharf was fine playing on - obviously a fan of bazball and boomboomball, whereas Aleem Dar was dead keen to make sure they went off for bad light. I reckon Babar declared so he could claim it was another test match they had dominated.

    Ashes XIs - 2025/26

These things are hard to predict at the best of times but I think with the eminence of t20 cricket it's even tougher right now. James Rew of Somerset looks one of the best youngsters coming through in the English game equipped to play test cricket.

    Team of the Year…2022- Tests

Cummins looks a bit more picky to me than Anderson. Has played (46/114) 40% of Australia's test since his debut. Anderson at (177/254) 70% since his debut.

the whole tour is kinda pointless. a 2 test tour that isn't even part of the World test championship.

This seems pretty racist to me

Seems a bit of a pisstake to me that Broad misses the series on maternity leave and then spends maternity leave in the television studio for the same series.

    *Official* Big Bash League 12 - 2022/23

I doubt Whiteley has ever bowled in the powerplay before tonight. Barely bowls in English cricket. Glad he's found the right standard to make a success out of his bowling. He didn't bowl at all in 25 games of t20 and hundred last summer

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Root hasn't looked like taking a wicket here (and leach not much better) and yet Robinson hasn't bowled and Anderson just 2 overs (and 1 wicket).

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Bazball doesn't quite yet seemed to have worked out team selection. 1st test on a flat one picking only 3 frontline bowlers - helped out by Foakes going down ill with jacks coming in. 2nd test picking an extra seamer on a slow turner. No 2nd spinner of note in squad.

    I dont like Bazball

    I love it.

    I dont like Bazball

I don't see more challenging wickets as a major issue for England. If anything it suits there style to play where one brilliant knock can win a game and ultra aggresive batting change put the opposition on the backfoot. There were plenty of challenging wickets in the summer that England won on...

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Yes Brook will definitely be in after the way he batted here imo. It'll probably be Foakes who is the casualty with Bairstow returning to keeper. Maybe Brook instead of Duckett as opener. Foakes being the only one not fit to play doesn't reflect that well upon him (possibly unfairly). He just...

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

This match would have been **** boring without England's approach. As a neutral just enjoy it. As an England fan I've made peace with the fact that we are doing some **** that would look crazy in the context of the rest of test history and may result in us losing games like this.

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Just think in an alternate universe we might of been seeing dom sibley make 90* off 280 balls today. Kinda mad not just that there were 4 centurions on day 1 of the test, but that they were Crawley, Duckett, Pope and Brook. No Root, Stokes, Bairstow. Great news for England.
