    Agree to all that. But he has a chance to break records and become an all time legend and that can only happen if he plays all tests. Skipping the t20s and odis are fine but skipping tests can ruin legacy.

    This is pretty much true and proof is in the icc rankings. Only 2 of the top 12 test bowlers are spinners while 9 of the top 12 t20 bowlers are spinners.

    Actually Jadeja and Sundar were decent enough to accept the draw after the centuries inspite of all the sledging. If it was Ashwin there, I am 100% sure he would refused to shake hands till the end and batted the full available time just to make them cry more.

    Instead of giving up, he could have tried getting them out thus denying their hundreds which would have got both sides to call it off early as well.
