He'd still be available afterwards, though.

    New Zealand's new uniform

 It may well look a teensy bit better on McCullum, but then he'd look good in anything :D

I've heard mutterings that Warwickshire are also interested in Morne. I, for one, hope they are successful :D I'm pretty sure Langer is playing for Somerset next season, but will miss the start because of the IPL.

Sorry, was just about to post it on t'other thread, but it was closed as I typed. That is the last time I will post on the matter :D

Wooooo, go Trotty :D Except the fact that he goes by Jim... To avoid confusion, just call him Trouts (as most at Warwickshire do...or Jim, as anyone else does).

Adam Shantry vs James Tomlinson, September 2008

He hates many things. Has it been proven yet that he is, infact, an 80 year old county cricket club member?

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2008

I'd rather hit myself over the head with a cricket bat, thanks... Btw Richard I think Shants has been unlucky with injuries, hence him leaving Warwickshire when he did instead of Carts - Lego Hair happened to be fit and enjoying a good run of form towards the end of the season, whereas...

Adam Shantry vs James Tomlinson, September 2008

Well said. Richard - leave Carts out of it, he's great. I'd only vote for Shants because he's rather cute. Shame I only started working at Edgbaston after he left...:D

    Twenty20 Finals Day 2009

I can confirm that it will be held at Edgbaston next year :D See, I know these things as I now work in the ticket office :D

    ***Official*** South Africa in England

And 2009 will be exactly the same dates as Wednesday's: 30th July - 3rd August. Haha at Rousey, it really doesn't surprise me that he came out with someting like that.

You can't even spell their names correctly. Shows what you know! Anyway, Turner has turned into a pretty good bowler, considering his home ground is Taunton. And don't you dare start having a go at the Somerset seam attack, as they bowled Kent out twice for around 200 runs in BOTH innings in the...

    England v South Africa tickets

Call the ticket office. Ticketmaster are usually useless, as I have found whilst working at Edgbaston!

    Somerset currently 338/1, with a lead of 105. Trescothick 136* Langer 124* :D

    Official Rugby Thread

I'm surprised there hasn't been more comment on the final few weeks of the GP! Bath & Gloucester secured themselves a play-off spot, as have (I think) Wasps, with the final place going to either Quins, Sale or Leicester. Tomorrow's games will determine who gets the home semis. I don't know if...

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2008

Somerset were just unlucky to be put in on a damp, slightly green wicket (apparently it was impossible to keep the wicket dry after the wet weather we had t'other week). Anyway, normal service has been resumed with Somerset 198/1 in their 2nd innings, Trescothick 79* & Langer 54* :D

    Batting Problem

To add to what Jack said: another useful tip my coach gave me once is to grip with just your index and middle fingers on your bottom hand, pretty much just resting it, to get your top hand used to being the dominant one when playing straight. Hope that makes sense!
