I very rarely buy any players as I generally don't have the time to piss about with the transfer market. As such, both my youth teams are wholly youth recruits. Currently, my best rating for a 16.x player is 27,229 for a player at 16.13. I have a 17.13 year old with a rating of 37,215 but he's...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

It is a thing of beauty, aye. Perfectly exploited the footmarks to maximum effect. Kneebone's dismissal also well worth looking at too. Appeared he was playing in a different time zone to the ball.

Just wait until my guys bowl. I've no bowlers suitable for the deck. Unless all your batsmen are knackered, it'll be closer than it looks. EDIT: And this is quite the collapse anyway!

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Conditions are not in Wellington's favour. They've only just back out onto the field and have already lost a wicket. EDIT: Not sure what happened with Younghusband's dismissal. Initially given not out, the umpires convene for a minute and then he's given out. Presumably caught, not the Lbw as...

    **Official** English Football Season 2024/25

This did not go well. :( Massive turnout for a League 2 game though so the local fans definitely got their money’s worth.

Massive game for Colchester tomorrow away at Bradford. Tranmere did us a great favour by beating them last week.

    2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Went to the All Whites vs. Fiji game this evening as a last minute choice. Seats right near the tunnel, which was great for seeing the players. But overrun with kids trying to get signatures at full time for the last 10 minutes.

Thorn Parkes getting bowled on 97 attempting the reverse sweep is one for the cricket purists to get upset about!

Very nearly let my team expire. Hard to find any enthusiasm at the moment.

    All-Time New Zealand XIs - A re-run

No Mark Craig? Won us more matches than most of our dribbly spinners even if his overall record as a bowler looks shite.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Yeah. Shows we've got some issues with FC batting I reckon!

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Heaphy's dismissal is a little rank.

All out for 68. Dudding's dismissal of McConchie a particular highlight. Top scorer Cam Paul with 15.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Watched Schreuder a bit the other day in the CD A game. Looked to have a nice repeatable action but quite short for a fast bowler.

    Cranes or Loons?

Andy Crane was pretty good on the old kids TV back in the day. Definitely preferable to Jemima Loon.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

It wasn’t just that he scored two tons, but the stuff I watched was pretty pleasing to the modern eye. Looked in control against Field, who has the most pedigree in that CD A attack. Gotta think that should have earned him a go.

I have heard of Morgan, though I'd forgotten about it until I looked him up (my excuse being that it's a relatively common name). I think it's Sam Morgan who plays for Upper Hutt. He's in decent form having racked up a double-ton in two-day cricket a couple of weeks ago (226* off 162). Dunno how...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Not yesterday. I’ll watch half an hour or so today. Joey Field rocking the headband which is always a winner with me. Not so nice for viewing today with a fair dose of the Wellington wind. Edit: Very gusty - the bails just blew off. Tricky for the quicks I reckon. Edit 2: Morgan just hit his...
