Group C - New Zealand, England, Kenya, Canada

I would have Bermuda as favourites if those two teams were to verse, personally. Surely you could of used a better example than England

I would bet that all those teams would beat England very convincingly right now, they are second by default only. I have to say that England's ODI team are performing like the Minnows of world cricket. In fact, come the world cup, I wouldn't be suprised if Kenya and Canada beat them, not one...

you really need that player in the lower order who is more 'orthodox', i.e not a slogger, so if it goes wrong up the top, you have got someone who can rebuild, and Clarke is perfect for that. Australia have got plenty of 'sloggers' down the order already, although Hussey can be both a rebuilder...

Great effort from NZ, really provided an excellent game, the first of the summer really. I was a bit amused with Pontings comments about the bowling at the death however, I thought McGrath in particular was excellent and Lee wasn't too bad either, he was very harsh. With those kinds of...

The thing is though, he is acutally scoring quicker in tests than ODI'S, thats a problem. I agree that a SR of 60 isnt good in ODI cricket, but the above fact assumes that there is some sort of problem with ODI cricket, you can't deny that.

Thats right, but we will see how he goes if theres a large total to chase down (if that happens, that is).

Well, he probably would be out of the squad now if there was any other open in Australia in decent form, and the fact there isnt one in decent form is the reason Hayden is still in the squad. He is the only batsman in the Australian lineup currently who's current form resembles that of an...

Odd thing about this, is that Hayden was scoring at a very good rate during the tests, he was in very good form towards the end of the Ashes, then as soon as he begins playing ODI'S he's out of form all of a sudden Maybe it was a bit like Andrew Symonds going from one dayers to tests at first...

They might as well go home, england. Watching Australia play England is like watching a pitbull continously slaughtering a poor little puppy. Well no one's gonna deny that England has an absolute dog of a team (bad pun  ) Englands batting is an absolute abomination, they may win the...

We might as well get some chimpanzees to replace the english batsmen. We will get more of a game that way. But in all seriousness, it has gotten beyond a joke. I have watched cricket on TV since I was 7 (1997) and I have never seen a worse team than the current England team. I reckon Zimbabwe...

at least NZ DO have a decent middle-lower order though, we have seen that get them out of trouble two times already. England, its more like 5 out, all out and without pietersen, the top order is 1. just test cricketers, unsuited to the one day arena, and 2- In quite poor form. What england need...

They are clueless what to do and after playing such passive cricket for long periods of time, when they try to enforce it, wickets just tumble

How much time is left before gilly(church) bids goodbye!?

I would say in a couple of years, definitely no longer than the 09 ashes series though.

I don't know which batting team is worse, England or New Zealand, but whatever, their batting efforts have been nothing but pathetic in this series. Their bowling attacks are definitely up to par, but if Eng and NZ are to be any sort of chance in the world cup, their batting performances would...
