    ICC2002 v ICC2005

Crepe? Isn't that a thin pancake used to wrap food in? So, as I understand it, you know Chris Childs personally, and can say that the man is an imbecile...interesting!!! And we can expect a full survey of all cricket game players on which computer cricket games they play very shortly? I...

    *Archived* Whatever you like....

I have to agree...I feel there are more 6's in 2005, I average 3-4 in a ODI if its a good batting strip.

So how many people ended up buying the game? Are going to buy the game?

Sorry to disagree, but I believe there are more sixes in 2005...just my opinion.

So how many people ended up buying the game? Are going to buy the game?

I bought the softwrap version and I'm undecided about whether it was worth it. The database certainly needs some work, but I believe it will be fixed. I'm also undecided whether the international spinner bug has been fixed, but then again I am using Warne and McGill so I'm not sure about that...

    ICC 2005 Trial download

One thing that disappointed me was that there was only ONE international 20/20 match for the entire 2005 season...and that was Australia v England. Dan, can you tell us whether regular 20/20 fixtures only appear in English county cricket, or are there more than just the one international game...

    ICC 2005 Trial download

I certainly recommend ICC2005 to anyone who doesn't at least have ICC2002. I'm not at all disapointed in ICC2005 as I didn't expect it to be drastically different. It has been tweaked and had a facial, but it certainly ISN'T a whole new game. I hope everyone understands that.

    ICC 2005 Trial download

The Trial Version offers you the choice to try the game, buy the game or enter a license key (presumably, if you have to re-install at a later time). The stats for Australia are prior to the 2004/05 Australian season (Gillespie and McGrath do not have Test 50's)so I assume that all teams...

    ICC 2005 Trial download

I have downloaded the Trial Version and up-dated it to the Full Version...and I must say the game does feel a little more than just an update. New commentary, new animations and a new look interface. Yes, there are some inaccuraccies in the up-dated stats, but nothing that can't be fixed in a...

    Icc 2005!

On the subject of the seemingly minor updates to ICC2005... We are lucky that Dan and the other developers have given their time freely to try and keep the ICC series going...If all cricket lovers went out and bought the game we may convince the publishers to provide time and funds for a NEW...

    *Cricket Master 2005 Development Thread*

Unfortunetly, Duff has disapeared again and the game is no closer to being available the it was yesterday, last week or last month. I repeat what I said on the LASTX forum...who has actually seen a working version of the game or evening some coding? Why are there 'last minute changes'? Isn't...

    Looking to buy 2002

You shouldn't have any probs running it on XP. I run it on XP Pro (SP1) in a 800x600 window and it runs like a charm.

    nz man4man better than australia

I've just finished browsing the posts in this topic and I've come to the conclusion that a lot of people don't watch cricket. In all honesty, how can any NZ player with good conscious claim a spot in the current Australian team? Look at the performance of the NZ team (on HOME turf) against the...

Who does your team really need?

I've just played James Hopes in my 2003/04 World Series Cup, and he had a 3/41 debut bowling first change. Since then he has bowled very consistantly...he looks like a find. Mike Hussey is doing the same this with his batting. He consistantly gets 30 or 40 when needed. But, I find that my...

    *Official* ICC2002 Editing Developments

I agree about adding another International team, the coding would have to be drastically altered. But, changing the fixtures shouldn't be impossible.

    *Official* ICC2002 Editing Developments

Personally, I'd like to see the International Calender revamped. If its possible, I'd like to see if the game will allow the addition of Bangladesh, add a World Cup and ICC Trophy every fours and add in more test series. I don't think it can be done, but its worth a look.

    Bradman -- Funny Story

Its got me thinking about some other funny stories I've heard or read about. I think this one comes from an Ian Chappell book, but I can't be sure... When Viv Richards was playing county cricket back in the late 1970's he came in to face a young bowler who had he tail up after collecting a...

    Bradman -- Funny Story

This story comes from the 2-part ABC documentry about Don Bradman that was screened recently. It was a game late in Don's career and he had just come into bat shortly before lunch. He was straight into form square driving 3 consecutive deliveries to the boundary. The opposition keeper was...

    Editing .PAK files

Hi Guys, has anyone attempted to edit the .PAK files or the Fixture files (.FXT)? If so can someone recommend a program that can let me extract the .PAK files. I've had a quick look at the .FXT files in a Hex Editor, but haven't got anywhere.

    Backgrounds

Hi Guys, editing the Backgrounds, and the Ground Pics are pretty easy. I have used Fireworks MX, Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro and they all seem to work. Make sure your image is 800 x 600 tho. Not sure about colour depth, I have used 24bit and it worked OK. Editing the actual background colours...
