 Best of all time, being skittled 8-15 by Broad six months ago.

NZ People: "Australia played well, but it's disappointing with how bad we played" Australians: "Australia is the best of all time and can't be touched and we always knew (despite our doubts that we posted before this series) that we'd win easily, NZ just suck"

Then you must REALLY suck at ODI cricket huh?

No different to a dropped catch in my view; he went on and made 200 for his side at a point that the match was reasonably poised had he not kicked on.

Australian fans pretending like they saw the best of the NZ side here and weren't fortuitous that our players were severely below par. Nothing new here.

Brendon McCullum to retire after upcoming Australia series

Baz also holds more meaningful records than Lomu. Lomu was a beast, sure, but he played as part of a killer team unit that was the world champs. I'm sure had Baz batted 5 his entire career, never wicket kept and come in behind a batting line up that rated as highly as the forward pack...

Good win Aus. Jord's Marks out Of 10. NZ Latham - 5 - Disappointing series in the sense that he didn't learn from Australia where he got starts in almost every innings but never went on with it Guptill - 2 - Who thought selecting him in Test Cricket was sound. Williamson - 4 - Better results...

We lose to Australia historically in every series except when Hadlee plays or we fluke something (1993) so that's anticipated. Australia under Waugh and Ponting would have hated that record. so Australia are in far worse decline than we are relatively.

Pretty terrible considering Australia's historical record.

Australia have a very poor record over the last five years, against England, SA in Australia, India in India and Pakistan in UAE.

I agree with this; there are maybe three guys in the side that actual go out there and really scrap for the team in Wagner, Williamson and Watling. The rest just don't seem to have that obdurate need to scrap.

The only thing Williamson needs to work on is how to turn the stump line bowling that ties him down into the legside runs that allow players like Root and Kohli to compile in almost any match situation. Williamson even through his great summer has had plenty of patches where the bowlers get...

I love how the Australians have to attach "these are all time greats" to their current lot. Voges and Khawaja have both out performed Smith all summer long, but to point out that they're better players than Smithers is blasphemy.

OK, Matt Sinclair scored 214 against Courtney Walsh and co, he must be the greatest batsmen ever. because he spent the better part of his first two seasons averaging high fifties too.

LOL, And Lara scored 400 against England. Is he the greatest of all time based on one innings?

Brendon McCullum to retire after upcoming Australia series

Cricket is a much bigger global sport than Rugby. I'd dare say there are far more people on the planet who know of and think highly of McCullum than Lomu. A billion Indians for instance?

Sillier was that Smithers asked for it then proceeded to block the puss out of things while expecting the others in his side to slog it home for him.

Ponting had a MINOR flaw in his technique that caused him major problems the moment his ridiculous eye dropped. Smith has a MAJOR flaw that hasn't really been exploited due to the lack of quality bowling he's faced since he went on his terror run. That there are no less than 4 Australian...
