Fair point honestly. Goes to show to some extent how a very good driver and team combination can seemingly sustain a level of dominance for longer than has traditionally been the case (14 seperate champions each in the previous two thirds respectively). I suppose a 2000 F1 car looks far closer...

    U-23 World Cup tomorrow

    Assuming this squad would be for a red ball game 1. Sam Konstas 2005 2. Nivethan Radhakrishnan 2002 3. Campbell Kellaway 2002 4. Hugh Weibgen 2004 (C) 5. Harry Dixon 2005 6. Cooper Connolly 2003 7. Lachlan Shaw 2002 (WK) 8. Jackson Sinfield 2003 9. Tom Straker 2005 10. Jack Nisbet 2003 11...

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Does seem somewhat odd that Hughes has a county deal yet NSW look highly likely to move on. I mean I know he isn't exactly in the first flush of youth, and spent a lot of time out injured during the most recent season, but I would have still thought he would have a bit left in the tank at this...

21st century doing a fair bit of heavy lifting in the above post. Only 9 champions in that timeframe, and of them Raikkonen and Button are the only other two to only get one title. I would agree that Rosberg is the weakest of those three, but that's hardly a withering criticism imo Still...

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

I wasn't particularly confident even before Wildermuth came in honestly, pitch was definitely looking flat before then, but yeah this is painful to watch

This is another really good spell from Doggett here, getting the old ball coming back in a touch at good pace 10 for the game now

Think it wouldn't be the worst idea to give Manenti a whirl sometime soon. Not that I think there will be much in the deck for him, but something different is worth a try here

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Wicket has definitely flattened out quite a bit. QLD have definitely done a better job (a few of the day 1 dismissals were undoubtedly a bit soft) but yeah, definitely playing more like KRO usually plays at the moment

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Really good start here today from Lehmann and Manenti Although to some extent I feel it needs to be, by all accounts the pitch was still a little damp underneath yesterday, especially early on. Wouldn't be stunned if it starts to play a bit more like a typical KRO deck now it has had some time...

Been excellent ever since lunch here. Doggett especially has been bowling brilliantly

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Must admit after the first few overs, I was thinking "oh **** here we go", but it's safe to say things have turned around dramatically since then. Honestly more through bad cricket from Queensland than anything else. Only Lovell really was undone by a genuinely good ball
