    Suggestions for my next international

The thing is, I haven't seen either! It would be nice to go somewhere new, like Edgbaston, for an Ashes Test, since it is my favourite form of the game, but I love Nottingham and watching a Twenty20 International would be a great experience. Those would be interesting matches, I am not elitist...

    Suggestions for my next international

I came home to Norwich from Nottingham today after seeing England win at Trent Bridge yesterday. With that done, I am now looking towards my next international match. Traditionally, I go and watch one international cricket match every year. For the last two years I have been to Trent Bridge, to...

    **Official** New Zealand in England

It was great to see England wrap up the series today. Trent Bridge gets better every year. The new stand, which I was in, is very nice and the permanent replay screen is of a very high quality. I enjoyed myself, despite there being only 65 minutes of play - I stayed and watched the groundstaff...

    **Official** New Zealand in England

I am pleased with the way the match is going. I want England to win it, which they look like doing, but I didn't want them to win it today, since I have a ticket for tomorrow. So I should be at the ground as England win the series. :) I am about 2 miles away from Trent Bridge and the light is...

    Cameras at Cricket Matches

I have a similar question. I am going to Trent Bridge on Sunday to see a day of the England v New Zealand Test, and I would like to take some pictures with my mobile phone and my small digital camera. I very much doubt this would not be allowed, but I want to make sure.

    *Official* English Football Season 2007-08

He used to play for Norwich (my team) and he was always spoken about having huge potential to be an England goalkeeper in the future. It would only be through injury that he would make any appearance in the friendlies, though, so I think he is just in the squad to be given some experience.

English Fans: Are you attending any Test matches this summer?

I am going to the 4th day of the 3rd test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge on Sunday 8th June.

You will understand this if you have been watching the test that's going on right now.

Greatest batting/bowling styles in the world.

In the England side, James Anderson has a nice bowling action and Ian Bell has a lovely batting technique.

There was an early wicket yesterday, there was another today. It will have helped the inexperienced bowlers get some confidence. If Sarwan and Chanderpaul come together though, there could be a big partnership.

    Brian Lara International Cricket 2009

Have Codemasters sold the game then? Will it be endorsed by Brian Lara still, despite his retirement? Will it be released on PC and PlayStation 2 as well as PS3 and Xbox 360?

    Reps?

Reputation systems create unrest when they are abused by immature people in an argument. Planet Cricket, as far as I can tell, will soon be removing their reputation points system.

Sourav Ganguly will be playing in this test after all, the thorn in England's side has been put back in. I would much rather bowl to Yuvraj Singh than I would Ganguly.

    Should England forget about Trescothick?

England have moved on, it's for the best that they forget about him now. I would welcome a return as an ODI specialist, which he undoubtebly is, but Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook are solid openers in tests, there's no need to change it because Marcus Trescothick has been good in the past...

It's that unwillingness to attack the new ball by nature that forces them to play stupid shots. There's a link there.

    ***Official*** India in England

I have a feeling you haven't seen too much of either of them, and are laying all of your opinions down to their statistics. That's a bad way to think in my opinion, statistics tell only half the story. In the 1st test of this series, and to a certain extent against Bangladesh, both openers...

Dinesh Kathik has a big future ahead of him in the Indian team for me. Wasim Jaffer maybe not so much, but he can still play. So there's no basis to say that they aren't very good, or won't be very good in a year or so. Manee made a great point, you need one attacking and one defensive batsman...

I do think they are good batsmen. Wasim Jaffer can defend through the new ball and then play his shots and make big scores, while Dinesh Karthik has controlled attacking flair. Those two techniques don't gel together though.

    ***Official*** India in England

You make a good point about India's openers, Wasim Jaffer and Dinesh Karthik are both decent batsmen but their techniques don't complement each other like an opening partnership should. There is a connection between this situation and that of Pakistan's - they changed their openers an awful lot...
