agreed. He liked to dominate and entertain the crowd.

    What made Viv Richards special?

    1) Sydney 89 Again carelessness had much to do with their downfall, especially in the case of Hooper and Richards, both caught at deep mid-off trying to loft Hohns for six. Wisden - AUSTRALIA v WEST INDIES 1988-89 2) Sydney 76 Australia gained a lead of 50 runs and on the third evening the...

    What made Viv Richards special?

This may sound blasphemous, but if he were really that selfless, he'd probably have tried to have modified his batting style later on his career as his reflexes started declining - tried to knuckle down and play more cautiously. ( Not that he didn't do this at times, but the occasions were quite...

What is harder - batting on a green top or bowling on a road...

batting on a green top. To get out takes only delivery and you're likely to get more of the wicket-taking deliveries on a greentop

    Fast bowlers' favorite fast bowlers

he under-utlizes it to be honest and Anderson's inswinger is by better by some distance. true .... Steyn under-utilizes the in-dipper and the yorker , concentrating mainly on the pace, accuracy, bounce and outswing. Anderson at times tries too many things

I''ll admit I haven't watched much of him in the Aussie domestic league. He looked good in the ODIs in which I've seen him bat, which is why I said that .....

Aus simply cannot afford to play both Siddle and Johnson. Should probably bring in Copeland for Johnson. Ferguson also deserves a chance in near future IMO Haven't seen much of Khwaja to comment much on him really

Have to disagree with this. England bowled very well in the Ashes and vs India in England. They sure as heck are no WI quartet , but lets give credit where its due Collapses like yesterday's have happened in the past, even to a side such as World XI ( consisting of greats from many countries )...

crazy day of cricket ...... Some pretty good bowling from Watto/Ryan/Philander/Morkel , but inept batting was as much of a factor, if not more. The pitch is/was nowhere as much of a devil as scores of 96 and 47 would indicate Think Watto is pretty under-rated as a bowler tbh

Would I be right in assuming that Aus will play Lyon as their first choice spinner ? Or will they continue with the round-robin system they've used for the spinners in recent times and play beer as first choice spinner ? :p
