Sobers rates Gavaskar as the greatest batsman

    Sanath Jayasuriya....

this is the end of the road for Jayasuriya in terms of cricket anyways i think. he better perform in the next few series, or else he will definatly be kicked out of the team. No English batsmen to cross 5000 ODI runs?

^ Knight, Hick and Fairbrother, and Hick could have done so much with their careers, i am not sure why were they in and out of the team, why were england selectors so unfair to these guys? look at Fairbrother for example, he played from the 1986-87 season to the 1999 world cup, yet he only made...

Graham Gooch between July 1975 - December 1989?

^ Graham Gooch is a interesting case, i mean he played for so long 1975 to 1995, but only played 118 tests, i know he was out of the team for 3 years during that time, but still the number of test matches he played seems low to me

Graham Gooch between July 1975 - December 1989?

I have a question, was Graham Gooch considered a good batsmen between 1975 - 1989? because looking at his stats he was only averaging in the 30's with only 8 centuries up until 1989

    Hashim Amla ~ Discussion

yeah i agree with you, people are putting him down for no good reason, i agree this his technique might not match up to Ponting, Dravid or Tendulker yet, but he has shown to be a really mentally strong player, i mean only very few batsmen outthere can bat for so long in as he did in both tests...

Lets discuss Pak dressing room Issues..

the other problem is that clearly talent is missing, i mean there are some guys like Asif, Umer Akmal that are talented but rest are not world class to compete in international matches. The Australian series clearly showed that pakistan team over all had very little talented players

If you look at most teams they open with left handed batsmen or atleast the first batsmen is always a lefthanded, why is that? does it make a difference?

agree, pakistani society is totally going down, i mean looking back at it, our lives in pakistan 20 years ago seem like heaven compared to today.
