    Excellent idea.

You are obviously English, so really unaware of the Head situation. The only people lacking confidence in Head were the data analysts of the Aus cricket team. The reason he came back for the following test WAS the public outcry from the fans. Selectors took pelters on talkback for the entire 2...

    Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

Predicting Spencer Johnson’s rise to be fairly rapid. Reminds quite a bit of a left arm version of Ryan Harris, with a similar build/bustling front on action of about 140kph. Can see him being an Ashes bolter and an insurance policy for Starc if he starts going for plenty.

Official - Road to Ashes 2023

Why is it only Hobart? His knock at the GABBA was on a pitch with more sideways movement than he will probably experience this Ashes series, against a better bowling attack to boot… People love to write him off in certain conditions before giving him a chance to prove himself. He’s a...

Boland will be unplayable in certain English conditions. He’s the real danger man for England with a Dukes ball imo.

India scratched to 160 with a tail that bats to 10. Australia have been 6-all out this entire series. They lost 6-20 in the first innings in about 5 overs. Marnus was bogged down and couldn’t score. If India got through to Handscomb/Green and bowled another 20 overs (which was a possibility...

Easy to say that in hindsight. India’s odds after the 3rd ball were into $3.00. At 1/7 off of about 7 overs it was similar. Heads innings was a match winning one.

Completely disagree, he showed on possibly the most difficult home pitch on a decade that he has the game for the moving ball.

Greens long term role imo. It’s time he started grabbing it imo. We need a competent partner for Khawaja more than an attacking #5

I don’t think so. His game “clicked” when he started opening for South Australia in the Marsh Cup. The rest is history. It’s quite possibly his natural position. Hes definately no worse than any other option, it would also be a case of fighting with fire with the current England setup. Head...

People continue to underrate Head. He averages over 50 in the last 2 years at a SR around 80. I’ve even read comments around the traps after his performance yesterday “He’s doing great in India, but he can’t open against the moving ball in England” Heads GABBA innings against the SAF attack on...

This is a Lyon pitch for sure with this bounce. Good counter punch from the Aussie top order also, they've put some scoring pressure on early.

Murphy's change of pace is excellent.

As well as the run a ball 92 on the GABBA greentop against Rabada, Ngidi, Jansen, Nortje that almost everyone struggled to get into double figures on.

    Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

We don't know that. His issues are completely unrelated to his selection. He absolutely looked the part on debut. In terms of your last point though, Green absolutely earned his test place. He was one of the top Sheffield Shield run scorers over 2 seasons. Are you going to far the other way...

    Players Who Retired Early

Half of the West Indian talent pool for the last 15 years?

    *Official* Australia in India 2023

Head is the obvious one, he opens in limited overs and his opening form was the beginning of his big "turn around" I think he'd be genuinely effective as an aggressive opener in India and probably in tests in general outside of greentops. He'd probably be exactly what the selectors are wanting...

    Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

It's not my mindset, I'm saying it's the mindset of CA. See Pucovski, See Green, See Cummins, See Murphy. Every now and then there's a player that looks immediately test class and I think Kellaway will prove to be one in the next 12-18 months.

    Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

Think he's going to do a bit of a Cam Green in the SS very soon, possibly in the back half of this season, reel off a few 100's and be that u/22 prospect averaging ~50 with 4/5 FC tons. They generally get fast tracked. He'd already be on his way if the South African tour game had FC status...

Kellaway's a chance at next summers test side imo.
