Checked out the highlights on YouTube. The ground the games are taking place gives me Eden Park vibes. Looks to have the same atmosphere as an Eden Park test match as well. Empty seats galore.

Yes empty seats as they're playing in 50,000+ capacity stadiums. The crowds were poorer in Texas and NY the last season.

The quality of cricket so far this season has been top notch. I mean, with exception of IPL and BBL I can't see how another domestic T20 league has better quality play. Bowling looks very solid, no shoddy fielding really. The grounds are naturally smaller than a typical cricket ground so 6s a bit easier. But there are plenty of international grounds with smaller boundaries.
