Unsure if this is correct or not, but I believe the players with the most consecutive series with a century are Bradman (11) and most with a 5’fer Barnes (9) who hit these milestones every series.

Some others I noticed (I’m sure I missed many, I didn’t really check that many bowlers)

Gavaskar (10), Tendulkar (8)
Murali (7), Hadlee (7)

May not quite be absolutely awesome but interesting nonetheless.

England play enough tests that if we stumble upon someone even remotely competent they could play 60+ games and pass 200 wickets but other than that, struggle to see anything coming from WI, SA or NZ to pass those in that list.

I know for SA having great spinners means one thing (I love Kesh) but when you play the majority of games on SA pitches, our quick bowlers will always remain interested and favoured. Even on the coastal wickets like CT, PE & Durban that bring spinners more into play, it still brings our quicks into play as well.

It's why i guess Vettori deserves a bit of respect too. He played in home conditions that didn't favour and had to share wickets with Bond & Martin? Got a bit of Boult and Southee I think.

That’s really insulting to call Moeen Ali remotely competent.

Someone from West Indies could get 200 + wickets if they had patience, Cornwall was handled badly , Motie got dropped with a bowling average of 27 ahead of the Aussie series
