If there was nothing in the pitch, Asif still happened to be decent at containing bats whereas Philander became a trundler.

Not getting play time for not being good enough is a skill. Asif is one of the most overrated players on skill by far just because he looked pretty moving the ball. He has #Lol to show for even in his 5 year Career.

It's alright to be Wrong. Shami and to a much smaller extent, Umesh's skills gets undervalued a lot. Touring pacers were averaging in the 40s when they did low 20s.

Who cares what Imran thinks? He never played Warne so his opinion is less relevant. I am talking about what Asif's actual opponents thought of his skill.
