Foxcroft resurgence continues. Good partnership with Foulkes to bring it home. Nice to see the spinners Ashok and Lennox faring well too and Mariu looking reasonably assured (just watched the highlights).

Such poor odds on it actually hitting the helmet, that I don't think it is spot fixing.

Which makes it even more a WTF moment.

Unless aiming for 4 byes? Rather than the 5 penalties.

Has anyone cracked the code on WTF happened there? I've watched that 10 times and I can't come up with anything. The odds on the keeper being there, Mariu not playing a shot at 35-0 off 4.4, then it hitting the helmet are off the charts!

It could be that Nurul forgot he was keeping and thought he was at first slip. It's probably more likely match-fixing though tbh based off the laidback reactions.

Kiwis 2/53 off 17 in the first test. Ball seems to be seaming around a bit with the occasional instance of uneven bounce

Theres no speed gun but ebadot seems to have lost a bit of pace
I was thinking he looked slower in that first class comeback match from a while ago and has gotten his old, actually not that rapid pace back? But yeah hard to gauge without the speed gun.

Unsure if Anamul is medium fast or just medium as well. Hopefully he's fast medium but I suspect he might only be medium fast. As long as he's not just medium.

Not sure about Ebadot. During his peak he bowled around 145 k iirc. Then I saw him bowling 135 k too in some of home tests. Haven't watched the FC match closely previously. I'm guessing hes bowling around 132-135 here

First time watching Anamul and havent heard of him before. I'd rather play Mushfik Hasan, Rezaur Raja or even Tanzim Sakib here.

Yeah I mostly remember him bowling about 135k in home tests. Don't really remember what he bowled away from home, but presumably faster. He'd be a test standard bowler with his bounce if he could get it to do anything at all off the seam. Alternatively if he could reproduce that glorious reverse swing spell from Mt Manganui. Been no sign of that ever again though.

Happy with the NZ squad, but some of the playing 11s have been of the balance spasticity scale. This is another.
