Your lot choosing to field at Hove seems a wild decision.

It's been a road this season and it's lovely and sunny in London so imagine it's also nice there.
To be fair, the best day to take wickets at Hove is often Day 1.

But so far, 3 teams who opted to field in Div 1 haven't managed a wicket between them. Whilst the team who chose to bat in Div 2 has lost 2!! It's a funny old game.....

And then it properly started nipping about at Hove, from 80-0 to 88-6!!

Kent just teased us in the first few rounds. They're not getting promoted with this dreadful bowling [euphemism] 'attack'.

Went to Northampton today. There was not a cloud in the sky but the pitch was greenish and there was movement for the seamers for most of the day. It was however chiefly the bounce in the pitch that the batsmen found difficult in the first half of the day. When the tail wagged I assumed that Lancashire would found batting easier however the didn’t at first. Harris looked in no sort of form however he dug in and left the ball as much as possible.

Jimmy Anderson, soon to be Sir James, ran the drinks.

Abbas running through Hampshire is very much amusing after the new owners didn't want a Pakistani in their side.

And the ambidextrous spinner Ben Kellaway gets his maiden ton too.
Class the more young spinners doing well the better for England. Even if they are Welsh/North of Ireland

Even if doing things with the bat moreso than the ball, but more strings to their bow will only help.

Was always going to happen. Of course the replacement to 'rebalance the squad' got injured and then replaced buy some guy who did nothing for 3 games and had now disappeared.

A loss for nominative determinism, sadly.

Lancashire's last 5 wickets couldn't raise 50. 227/5 to 276. they would be bottom of the pile without Harris' 706 runs in 5 matches. Batting him at 4 proves to be the only sensible decision of late. Whereas Northants 67/6, 127/7 and 238 all out. Lancashire could yet be batting out day 4 for a draw again.
