Well yeah there's that. I suspect he also was pretty nervous going in.

I reckon he'll get into a series a lot quicker with the bat than he did this one. It's hard to see him bowling better, but I reckon he can have a bigger impact with the bat as he matures.

It appears to be a dog's breakfast. Management in particular.

He's a friend of someone I know too - he played at Palm Beach Currumbin many years ago. I assume it's not the same person. I'm glad we didn't play against PBC that year. Would have been a nightmare.

1 miracle win and another charity win courtesy of disinterest do not make England all of a sudden the gun team of 2019. They were outclassed for most of the series.

If England wins this to make it 3-1, which would be the more undeserved scoreline - this series or 2019?

Kohli stands down as Test captain

Because he's moving towards retirement - commentary the natural progression.

Love Stokes's 'ERMA GAAWWD' face. It was a no ball you ruffian.

Kohli stands down as Test captain

I suspect all that screaming into a stump mic was Kholi auditioning for a commentator's spot when his career is done. Standing down as captain is the first step in this direction.

When Boland tons up just before lunch today, will he have done enough to claim Man of the Series honours to go along with his inevitable Australian of the Year gong on the 26th?
