    Sunil Gavaskar vs Graham Gooch

Who would you pick against an ATG pace attack?
  2. P

What would Sehwag average is he debuted ten years earlier?

    Probably around 45 subs
  3. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

I don’t think rating Crowe higher than Hayden and Sehwag is unreasonable but I would find it weird if someone put them in separate tiers
  4. P

    Malcolm Marshall vs Jack Hobbs

I don’t think they would lol
  5. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

He did beat Hayden and Sehwag here but I think most people outside this forum would rate Hayden and Sehwag higher http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/threads/martin-crowe-vs-matthew-hayden.89671/ http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/threads/martin-crowe-vs-virender-sehwag.89330/

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

Yea I think using it to split two players who have similar output is cool. Ponting/Sangakkara > Younis. I can’t agree with Gooch > Younis though although I am a fan of Gooch
  7. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

My bad but you do think pace is more important and rate Gooch higher than Younis (which is fine)
  8. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

Yes I think Sehwag is underrated. Being good in swinging conditions is impressive but it isn’t that important.
  9. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

Tbf he has said that he rates ability to play pace as far more important than ability to play spin. He rates Gooch as a better batsman than Younis Khan so he is consistent.

    Jones-Flintoff-Hoggard-Harmison vs Jamieson-Boult-Southee-Wagner

Thought the NZ quartet would have played more together
  11. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

Crowe gets rated higher than his average here because of his 10 year peak where he averaged like 53 I think
  12. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

I don’t think he was being serious lol. Gower >> Bell
  13. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

    Crowe or Williamson for you?
  14. P

    David Gower vs Virender Sehwag

Wasn’t Dravid averaging high 50s at one stage? I think his away average was ridiculous at that point as well (although I don’t think away is more important than home but I know others do)
  15. P

    Jones-Flintoff-Hoggard-Harmison vs Jamieson-Boult-Southee-Wagner

    Which bowling quartet is better?
