    Headley and Pollock had insanely dominant records even in their smaller sample which ranji does not. I don't personally agree with the Grace selection since his greatness was much more in fc cricket. Why don't you actually make an argument for ranji over miandad instead of deflecting?

    I can't have someone with fifteen tests over a modern ATG who has a much more distinguished career, averaged much higher and faced superior bowlers. I can't think of one argument for ranji over miandad, it's ridiculous.

    Depth without a proper spine is useless. Jadeja at 6 in an ATG xi is atleast one spot too high. Just would look incredibly out of place when the number 6s we've selected so far are Sobers, Sangakkara, Border, Walcott, de villiers .
