    *Official* Bangladesh A v New Zealand A

Nz only have 1 seamer in the 11. So, you should be fine. (Until day 4)

    *Official* Bangladesh A v New Zealand A

Happy with the NZ squad, but some of the playing 11s have been of the balance spasticity scale. This is another.

Don't hold me to this as gospel. But I seem to recall Plunket Shield season having a mixture of 3 day and 4 day cricket in the same season. Maybe back in early 90s. Let alone NZ playing 3 day tests v England right up to 1949, while others wee playing 5 dayers.

Such poor odds on it actually hitting the helmet, that I don't think it is spot fixing. Which makes it even more a WTF moment. Unless aiming for 4 byes? Rather than the 5 penalties.

No, I think it is a pretty good and expected NZ A team. It is only missing some fringe players who have overseas professional contracts, all of whom are seamers. In this case I would say 1 or 2 out of Duffy, N Smith, Sears would have toured if they didn't have county contracts. Probably only...

Well established seamers in the Bang lineup. Lucky that NZ has packed batting specialists all the way down to number 8. Could have been looking at a low score.

Is he playing county cricket? Edit. I looked it up, he has a Surrey contract. (Although I haven't seen him in any scorecards yet this season). I assumed he might have been considered 'too senior' for an A tour now. But, personally, I think he could do with an Asian tour. He always missed...

I'm going to assume those with county cricket stints at the moment weren't considered. Of which. Sears and Duffy would have been contenders for a squad like this

That's brilliant. Pleased, they re-arranged that canceled tour. I really like the squad, only 3 seam bowlers. But, Ok for a subcontinent tour, I suppose. Good balance of youth, and I like the potential prospects of the experienced group (Kelly, Carter) as potential gap bridgers the next 2...

It's been quite interesting to watch him in a longer format. For a few years in televised Super Smash , or T20is, I have watched. I swear he's bowling pace-off 5 out of 6 balls. If not 100% Now watching him in longer spells. Even his quicker balls are cutters. I'm not just talking wobble...

Sumo on commentary just 'announcing' an NZ A tour to Bangladesh. There was supposed to be one last spring, that got canceled. No mention of when this tour happening. Eg this autumn? Or not until spring again?

The boxing day test in 1987. First test NZ v England at Christchurch in 1991/92. World Cup semi NZ v Pakistan 1992.

Seifert only turned down a provincial contract, anyway.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Cleaver really gave Mariu and Kelly a bit of a nudge for the top run scorer. Had a fantastic back half of the PS season. Congratulation to Van Beek on being top wicket taker with 36 wickets at 20.63 (he also had a pretty good season with the bat, got a FC ton and averaged 28) Some notable all...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Mariu subbed out mid game for Chamberlain. Presumably for blackcaps duties. That one innings wasn't enough to put him above Kelly on the top run scorers table. Kelly will finish 2 runs ahead.
