    neither The topic contradicts itself. The achievement is purely based on how well the team did. Wins as a player or captain depends on the performance of 10 other players. A player like brian lara could easily have done the same if he were born in aus ;p. Better captain? mmm yeah maybe...

    i dont see them trying to play too many strokes against kaneria. he got really good turn in day 3. imagine day 5 with more footmarks. chasing 210-240 in a test match with 60 overs is suicide. But i'm often wrong hah :blink:

    i wonder if pakistan gets on a roll and bat until tomorrow. they could potentially declare for 200 with 2 sessions to play and maybe try win this thing. :laugh: kaneria would trouble most batsman on a day 5 surface. thoughts?

    southee got the odd ball to shape away from the right handers, more so seam position then swing. beating the outside edge when pitched on off. i think they need to bring him back :)
