    Jimmy Anderson -Finally World Class?

301 wickets at 24.5 and a SR of 54 since 2011 says world class to me.

cricketers that you don't like for no reason

Brad Hogg. Something about that cheerful rodent like face as he flipped the ball up before his run up.

***Official*** Sri Lanka in England and Ireland 2014

Jimmy Anderson is stronger (and randier) than he looks it seems..

Peter Moores gets a second bite of the apple

KP had his second chance after the text message scandal and was still clearly a social hand grenade in the dressing room. No third chance now with this appointment thank ****.

Graeme Smith to retire from international cricket

Tbf, he's been doing the international thing since he was 21, it must get tiring after a while especially when you have a young family to care for. That's 2 Graemes the crims have forced into retirement in the last few months :thumbdown

***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2013/14

That guy is waaaay too mouthy for his own good. Hopefully he'll have a shocking run of form, get dropped and the world of international cricket will be spared the utterances of that waste of oxygen.

***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2013/14

He fulfils that much needed "quick fire 35 then out due to poor footwork" position that Australia crave.

    English summer 2014 test team

No matter what it's got to be goodbye Root, comeback when you're not so wet behind the ears.

    The Next Big Stars

The main problem with De Kock is that his runs seem to come in spurts so SA need to be patient with him in that respect.

    The Next Big Stars

I've heard that his defensive technique is superb. Bowlers had better get used to being Kock blocked.

When will Philander average > 20?

A good example of this is Stuart Clark. Absolutely dominated for a time and then lost a bit of nip and all of a sudden he was struggling.

When will Philander average > 20?

Comes across as an arrogant mouthy **** sometimes, mind you with that record I suppose arrogance comes easily to some people. Every time I see a SA test scorecard I pray that he'll be getting a caning to bring that average up but he's always in the wickets, just goes to show that line and length...

    Trott leaves tour

Whether or not Warner's comments brought all this to head or not, they were pretty harsh for a sporting press conference. It's the kind of boorish, twattish behaviour people have come to expect from him.

    Trott leaves tour

I sat just behind his fielding position on the boundary at the Chester le street test and he responded quite sharply to some good natured heckling from a few young Aussie lads nearby, it was the kind of stuff most other players would laugh off or ignore. He didn't seem right then and his batting...
