*Official* Zimbabwe in England (One Off Test)

If that happens Zim will be bowled out for less than 60, mark my words. It will be like Lords in 2000 when they had a much better batting line up who had played a lot of cricket around the world. Pitches like that do not exist in Zimbabwe. It is already difficult for Zimbabwean batsmen to...

There is a pretty high chance he will. The Zimbos won't know how to play him. If you saw them bat in Bangladesh you'll know they will be sitting ducks.

Hope Muzarabani gets Crawley for single figures, not that it will make any difference to the Fortunate Son's career.

Zim haven’t bowled that badly but it’s a flat pitch and the batsmen should have cashed in.

    All-Time Ireland XIs - (Not) A re-run

Campher is a good call to bat 6 or 7. Big game player who may not be the most consistent but will turn a match every so often. Balbirnie for captain though I don’t think he’s that good a skipper TBH. I’d have had Porterfield captain and open ahead of Moor.

Nowhere near enough runs. A shame Welch cramped up it has really cost them.

    All-Time Ireland XIs - (Not) A re-run

Porterfield was a better opener than Moor, he was just too old by the time Ireland got test status.

As much as I’d love to see a strong Zim performance in England the best they can hope for is catching the Eng top order unawares on the first morning. You only have to watch the batsmen for fifteen minutes or so to see how they will struggle against the moving ball. Bennett did very well in the...

    Zimbabwe are Improving!

It's because Victoria Falls is more attractive for visitors coming for the World Cup in 2027. It makes sense. People will come to see the falls and watch the game. I don't know why they're not using Harare much at the moment.

Leach proved a better bowler by a distance. Then we entered the Baz/Key era. Bess also made a poor career choice leaving Somerset for Headingley.

Yeah an absolute regulation nick from Mominul off Blessing. Expect it to cost Zim the game now. Mayavo has struggled with the bounce Blessing gets but it was an abysmal effort from him.

    English Domestic Season 2025

As I say, if this happens Blessing Muzarabani will scalp him, looking forward to it.
