    He isn't ready IMO. I'd give him some more time in county cricket. Besides, we're not going to play two spinners at home. England's next tour where where a second spinner might be required is a long way off (vs Pakistan in the UAE I think).

    Tendulkar has played Rashid before and he destroyed him back in the 2007 tour. The bowling attack was similar to England's current attack-Tremlett, Broad, Onions, Bresnan and Rashid. India were 10/3 or something before Tendulkar scored 171.

    I watch a lot of the IPL. 1/2 games everyday is great! I do think that the number of international players need to be raised. 5 or even 6 would be good. I understand the need to give the young locals a chance but not at the quality of the league, especially now that you've got two new teams...

    Chanderpaul is such a strange player. He has the shots to score quickly (hundred vs Aus in 70 balls in a test and an epic finish against Vaas in an ODI being just 2 examples) but he bats at the same pace irrespective of the state of the game most of the time.
