Namibia and Kenya out of the race for a World Cup spot after losses today.

Yes, top 3 from each group. They now go on to a Super 6 stage, which has been used at the actual World Cup previously. I think they play 3 matches each in the super 6 stage, with the top 2 teams qualifying for the 2015 World Cup, and the top 4 teams gain ODI status. So as far as I'm aware...

PNG, Namibia and Kenya go through from Group B. Scotland, Hong Kong and UAE from Group A, group A final standings will come down to the 2 ongoing matches between Canada v Scotland (Scotland are trouncing them) and UAE V Hong Kong.

They probably would, but that loss today knocks them out of contention. Today was the last of the round robin matches before the super 6 stage. Top 3 from each group advance.

I always thought Aga would be able to dominate at associate level. Finally it looks like he is definitely capable of delivering. Irfan Karim looks like a run machine. The Netherlands not qualifying is a huge surprise.

Kenya just chased down 266 in 36 overs to knock the Dutch out of the tournament and 2015 World Cup. Crazy run chase. Hong Kong look really good, and Scotland hitting their straps. PNG the big surprise topping group B.

Final warm up games today. Kenya d Nepal by one wicket. UAE d Netherlands by 6 wickets Scotland d Namibia by 63 runs PNG d Hong Kong by 42 runs Uganda d Canada by 71 runs. Some mixed results in the warm ups. If they are any indication of anything, Scotland and UAE look strong.

It appears not. Kenya are going backwards. Their young opener Irfan Karim did carry his bat for 130 today, pity those around him didn't do so well.

That'd be a decent match. I wouldn't be surprised to see PNG do well in this. They have been playing in the Premier Cricket League in Adelaide. I can only assume Australian pitches are similar to those in NZ, although obviously weather conditions are different.

Apologies if there is already a thread for this, I couldn't find it. This starts in New Zealand in a few days. GROUP A Nepal UAE Hong Kong Scotland Canada GROUP B Kenya Netherlands Namibia PNG Uganda My understanding is that the top two teams qualify for the 2015 World Cup and the top 6...

***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2013/14

The only change I can see to the Australian squad is Doolan in for Bailey. I also expect Doolan to bat at 3 and Watson moved down the order to 6. I have no problem with Doolan at 3 as it's his preferred postion in first class, and let's not forget the guy did score 161 not out against South...
