Shaun Pollock might be one of the best ODI bowlers of all time and was very solid #7. Sum total of that is Pollock > Kapil in ODIs.

I reckon Dev might've been pretty good at T20 if he ever got the chance though.

I don't think I'd have him over the 4 tier A bats in Viv, Tendulkar, Kohli and Abd, or over Garner, McGrath... Then I'd have to think about guys like him Akram, Dhoni etc

I think he is close enough bowler to Gather and McGrath for his batting to take him ahead.

Starc can bat a fair bit. Played much more ODIs as well and better outside the WCs. Also, he actually won it twice.

I don't care about team trophies much, especially when Shami has a better WC record.
And can he bat? The guy avgs 12 with a SR of 77. It's not even as if he's pinch hitting.

I think his test batting is causing some format bleed, I never really thought much of Starc the odi batter
