"I have over 100,000 posts on a cricket forum, who do you think you are"It's one of the worst things you can say to an Australian tbh. Immediately gets most people riled up.

You didn't do it quite right."I have over 100,000 posts on a cricket forum, who do you think you are"
Honestly, as deplorable as his words were, I dont think anyone is really surprised he acts like this. BCCI made their bed knowing such things could happen. And given the conduct of the groundsman himself is questionable at best, I dont think much would come out of this. It would be in the interests of both boards to keep what actually happened under wraps and just let this blow by.What’s next for Gemphir?
Yeah, we will all forget about this episode before the start of the test.Honestly, as deplorable as his words were, I dont think anyone is really surprised he acts like this. Seem like two completely unrelated concerns. Asking them not to wear spikes wouldn’t have magically done anything with the water cooler, no?I think both men were in the wrong. With the curator, Mr. Lee Fortis, he was reportedly acting in a disrespectful manner with the Indian team's support staff when they brought a water cooler on. As the head coach, Gambhir was right to be irked by the manner of Fortis's behavior, especially if they have not dealt with this at other grounds. Although it is understandable that the pitch must be protected, all Fortis had to do was ask nicely that they avoid using shoes with spikes (which wasn't even a problem anyway)
He is jealous of the awesome Virat pressers esp. against Australia. He thinks in his head he is doing something similar but like Trott said, he is basically just picking a fight with his shadow.Yeah, we will all forget about this episode before the start of the test.
Gemphir tho…
Unless for sale in a charity shop2 cents shouldn't be in the format of a chapter book
What damage would a 5-10 Kg water cooler do to the pitch that wont be done by the 100+ kg groundsman walking on it, ironically to complain about the cooler damaging the pitch?Seem like two completely unrelated concerns. What my point was that the curator seems unnecessarily harsh against the visiting team, but no concerns are shown when members of England do it (like Baz and Rob Key). Also, if there were concerns on the part of Lee Fortis, exactly what is to be gained by lashing out at support staff? Thus, I think both Mr. Fortis and Gambhir got this wrong.Seem like two completely unrelated concerns. Asking them not to wear spikes wouldn’t have magically done anything with the water cooler, no?
I'm actually surprised that in the press conferences, he hasn't repeated for the umpteenth time that he had a role to play in the 2011 CWC final (splendid performance to be fair), and that Dhoni gets too much credit or whatever he can take out of his magical hat.He is jealous of the awesome Virat pressers esp. against Australia. Something in the water up in New Dehli? He is jealous of the awesome Virat pressers esp. against Australia. He thinks in his head he is doing something similar but like Trott said, he is basically just picking a fight with his shadow.![]()
Someone here legit started a thread and said no one with less than thousand posts should reply."I have over 100,000 posts on a cricket forum, who do you think you are"
I assume something to do with the water in it and the potential for spilling it on one part of the pitch. What damage would a 5-10 Kg water cooler do to the pitch that wont be done by the 100+ kg groundsman walking on it, ironically to complain about the cooler damaging the pitch?![]()
Did they have a water cooler there? What my point was that the curator seems unnecessarily harsh against the visiting team, but no concerns are shown when members of England do it (like Baz and Rob Key). Except it was not on the pitch.I assume something to do with the water in it and the potential for spilling it on one part of the pitch.
