A couple of fifties for Washington and Jadeja and India have a lead now.

They have a good chance of a draw now but you would think they have a chance of a win with the Indian supporters are celebrating there.

Ravi Shastri trying to keep a lid on it, don't count your chickens just yet.
I mean, who says only England can claim moral victories?

Wow, for once they didn't lose a wicket before a session. Remains to be seen if their concentration can last through the first 5-10 overs of the final session.

But gutsy stuff from Jadeja and Sundar. The former especially made the most of the life given just before lunch. On to a fiery finale!!

Realistically India should be home safe from here, this deck hasn't done anywhere enough for six wickets in 25-odd overs to be likely (since England will still have to run down whatever total India is able to set). But we thought that at the MCG too so this isn't over by any means; that rabbit tail could haunt them once again.
