tbf, only 15 players including Root have more than 8 tons against a single team (Smith and Tendulkar against 2 seperate teams) Rare for them to properly line up with a specific bowler too.

You could argue Smith has 10 against Anderson but that’s stretching the top definition slightly. Think Lara had 6 against McGrath.

Nobody was talking about any usefulness. Whether Lara was the father of McGrath or not can solely be determined by DNA finger printing, Although just by looking at them, I'd suggest there's no need to.
