Jadeja beat Greenidge and Crowe comfortably while Williamson did the same to Stokes and Shakib. Now, the heavyweight clash. So who's better?

Kane has been a huge dissapointment when playing away against good sides.

Kane in Aus/Eng/SA/Ind has 1500 runs at avg of 32.

Jadeja gets stick for away performance for bowling. Since Kane is a batsman,

Jadeja in Aus/Eng/SA/NZ has 1300 runs at avg of 36.

Yeah exactly. KW's argument against most guys is his ATG performances at home. But even there, he doesn't beat Jadeja. So don't really see how he wins this.

Jadeja - 2 5fers and 1 100 outside India (away & neutral)

Williamson - 13 100s outside NZ
It shouldn't come to this for some one with Kane's potential. Kane is a top order batsman and Jadeja is an all rounder so comparing tons for them will miss the point.

Jadeja did not play in Pak/UAE/BD/Zim. If we stick to other places,

Kane away in places both played - Aus/Eng/Ind/SA/WI/SL - 71 innings 2300 runs avg 34 - scored 50+ fifteen times.
Jadeja away in places both played - Aus/Eng/NZ/SA/WI/SL - 56 innings 1600 runs at avg 36 - scored 50+ fourteen times.

Given Jadeja has batted only 56 times and that too lower in order compared to Kane 71 times and yet he is pretty much in the same ball park with 50+ scores, I don't don't think anyone can say that Kane has done better as batsman. Jadeja has simply contributed more consistently as batsman. This is without Jadeja the bowler.

If arguement is that Kane beats Jadeja as batsman playing away due to runs/tons in Pak/UAE/BD/Zim where Jadeja did not play then that's a different issue. Again, all that without Jadeja as bowler away.

Kane has been one of the biggest dissapointdment for me.

Fun fact: Williamson is arguably the greatest matchwinning batsman at home after Bradman. (contending with Inzy and Sobers)

BJ Watling would be ahead of Jadeja and Chris Cairns wouldn't be far behind, so does that put Watling (and perhaps Cairns) ahead of Williamson and Martin Crowe?
