Unbelievably insulting to Anderson, at the very least compare him to Boycott or smth

Ok. Anderson for the last 14 years of his career was also good away from home, terrific at home.

No one questions his home record.

see how you didn't refute what I said and went to list averages? heh
Since 2010
in Aus : 18 Tests. 63 wickets @ 30
in SA : 7 Tests. 14 wickets @ 31
in NZ : 7 Tests. 28 wickets @ 26
in Ind: 14 Tests. 34 wickets @ 30
in SL : 5 Tests. 16 wickets @ 21

Still mediocre

Poor average.
Poor strike rate.
WPM of less than 4(Less than 3 in some countries)

Anderson’s away record is so poor that I am surprised how anyone can call him a great bowler.

removing the one series he played with broken ribs in Australia, his away average was 25.5 over 60 away games, 24 in Asia over 27 games, good enough.

First remove one third of his career.
he has such a long career that even if you remove parts of it, his career would be long as hell, the 14 year timeframe I gave is longer than Imran Khan's full time career as a bowler.

Then remove one series.
Because he was injured.

Hint – take a hammer and smash Bumrah's ribs in, he won't bowl to full potential either.
