I remember him sitting across from Brian Langley during the '92 WC back in the Prime Sports days. Unrecognizable from the cartoon of recent memory.Gavaskar deserves a mention.
Spot on about Nas and Athers.They have been my favs for years too.Atherton and Nasser Hussain. Great vibes allround: knowledge, pacing, timbre, presentation, amiability. Hands down the best pair commentating in these last twenty years.
Ian Bishop's good but a bit too stiff-collared for my liking. The Aussie Skeletor is good when he's not being overly jokey but that's his schtick I suppose.
